While my club at school was painting stuff for our play in May, we listened to random music. The songs include Britney Spear's first album, made in China, of course, Destiny's Child, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and some mixs cd's from our birthday last week.
So, while we were taking a break and literally watching the paint dry, some of the members - Miss President even, started to dance to a song - I'm gonna say it was 'What a Feeling', from you know, that movie.
Then someone said she looked like those Korean singers, and I really didn't know how to react. Should I ask her how she knew how Korean singers look like while performing, or wonder what performers she knows, or protest, because they dance, they don't randomly swig their arms around in time with the music. -.-

so I did nothing, and watched the paint some more. ~~But I'm still so curious about how the hell she knows how, let's say, DBSK or SuJu, or some other gay band supposedly moves D:~~

I forgot what to write about.

Of course, I'm not to blame, but rather the fact that the members in my manga/anime club at school are in the same classroom, and I didn't want to go into a certain community here on lj that focuses on yaoi/shounen-ai, and fifty percent here right now are guys and don't exactly support it.

I want to update my writing journal. I forgot doing it before I left home.

I love Super Junior, and I find it really freaky that I'm only writing fanfiction about one of of the only members in that group that knows English. I'm sure that he sometime has been on lj, ~~he might even have an account~~, and the thought of him reading Suju-fanfics freaks me out.
One negative thing about writing about real people.

I started on the Ririn cosplay yesterday. The head, actually. The balloon I based it on is huuuuuge, really huge. It reminds me of ~~an elephant~~, hot air balloon (...~~is it really called that...? A friend says so, but I'm not sure if I trust him~~).
I just hope the balloon is big enough.

I while ago, I went to town to buy some ~~utterly useless~~ fabric, glue, (and apparently a bottle of spray paint - I had no intention to buy it), when I was struck with the thought of checking out some tennis rackets, to see how expensive they were. (I'm going to cosplay a character from Prince of Tennis on my birtday :'D ) . I knew they weren't going to be cheap, but I found a racket for around 20 dollars. Happiness, ~~though I still have to paint it Dx.~~ The others were like 50 dollars each, and even though some were red, I'm not gonna buy them, since I need two.
Then I looked at the tennis bags - I don't know if they have a proper name - because I'm not going to be able to sew one of those, for sure. Unfortunately they were 40 dollars, and weren't completely black which is what I'll need. D: I'll just have to look around for cheaper stuff.
I'm going to have to buy the shoes, as well - I can't make my own shoes, and the ones I have at home doesn't look right. D: Arggh, money.
And the wig will cost like 20 dollars, if I'm lucky, and my store have the perfect wig.
Plus the money for the fabric. D: I like buying fabric, but somehow, the fabric I want is almost always the most expensive. And I'm sure they won't have the colours I want either.
(And if I'm going to be picky - which I'll probably be - the lenses will be expensive. It's not necessary, but I wanna D: )

In total, this particular cosplay is gonna cost more than 100$ Dx I'm gonna have to make sure I use it more than once, and at least for a couple of cons, even though I can't compete with it. I'm gonna have to take lots of pictures of it, and reuse the props - maybe even take up tennis. Dx

(The character that shares my birthday, is btw, Shinji Ibu, but I thought for the longest time it was Eiji. xD This means I'm going to cosplay someone frome Seigaku, as well : D)

Wigs

I love wigs. <3 Even if it means that my desk is covered with layers of hairspray (got2be glued ftw), and you can't walk on my floor without stepping on wig hair.
I especially love wigs when you get them for free from friends that don't want them any more (even if it is a crappy wig). It means that you can 'experiment' with the wigs in a way that you probably wouldn't do with an expensive wig you bought yourself. Recently, I added extension to a wig I got, mainly because half of the netting was showing, but I think it it looks good.
I got the extensions for free, too, so I don't think it matters so much that the extensions and the wig aren't the same shade of blonde. It's not too obvious, I hope, because unless my friend wants the wig back, I'm going to use it for Wonderwice (Bleach). I could've used it for a character I like more - like Urahara or Howl - but the wig have a premade parting that makes the bangs looks awful, and therefore I need to cover it up with something. Fortunately Wonderwice's hollow mask is placed in the right place. :D

Pokemons for the win

I totally fail. Even if my list of planned cosplays is huge, it keeps expanding.

I've begun to watch Pokemon (again), and with a new show, there's always new I want to do. Pokemons mean gijinka cosplays, since I don't want to make a huge suit of, for example, Pikachu. Gijinkas are so much easier <3
Right now, I'm working on Raichu, as well as finishing Pikachu (I made an easy one for a party that desperately needs help), and I have more planned. :3

Boredom

I'm so bored. D: I'm not in the mood for anime or manga, I don't want to draw, I've done all the homework (...), I am cosplaying ~~by myself~~ right now, no-one is online, I'm too lazy to go for a walk (which probably is a bad idea, considering my cosplay), and I don't feel like making new cosplays. I can't play video games, since the only ones I've got are Kingdom Hearts 2 and Naruto Ultimate Ninja. I've beaten KH2, and I fail at Naruto, so I'm stuck.

I suppose I could go out and take photos, but then again, I'm cosplaying a new character that I feel sort of awkward about. Troublesome.

I'm going to end this boring entry now.

The Not Quite Dead Language

I have a new favourite subject in school! :3 It's Latin, and even though I've only had one lessons so far, I really love it. Maybe it's because it's what I've been waiting for since I was twelve, and I probably would've liked it no matter what, or perhaps it is because it's soooo much easier than you'd think.
I had prepared for hours of studying just to understand a little Latin, but it seems as if I'll only need half an hour a day to learn many of the words. I mean, it's only like twelve different ways to say a noun, and I learn that stuff pretty easily. :D

One of the things that's so easy with latin is that it doesn't matter in what order the words come. For example, to say 'The girls sees the woman', you could say Puella feminam videt, or Feminam puella videt, or Videt puella feminam, it would still mean the same thing. :D
Puella feminam videt is the one most used, though.

The newer a language is, the more words it has.
Example:
English has 500,000 words.
Swedish has 80,000 words.
French has 60,000 words (and is considered to be 'small').
Latin has 20,000 classical words.

Other languages I currently study: Swedish, English, French, Italian, Russian (& Latin), and hopefully Japanese soon.

I draw a lot of fanart, and I've wanted to join fanart100 for a while, but they seem to be on hiatus, but then I found a better alternative, fanart50 , which means I don't have to draw so many pictures. :3
And since I am a complete Narutard, I'm going to draw the Akatsuki, even though I suspect there's going to be a severe belack of Konan - I love her, but she's not fun to draw Dx

Of Randomness

After a while of absence, I finally return to livejournal to write for my own pleasure. :P
Meuwcon in February went great, and I can't wait until January - I'm going to Uppcon:09, which is great, since two of my friends that never have been to any sort of con before, and furthermore, they are going to cosplay.

I'm going as Shippuuden Sasuke, and my friends are going as Itachi and Tobi - and to 'complete' the group, two other friends of mine are going to be Deidara and Sasori. >:D Shame that those two are sisters xD
(All of us Uchihas are not, on the other hand)

Of course, dressing like hundreds of other Narutards, isn't our goal, so we have 'real' cosplays that we're pretty sure no-one else is going to do. I'm going to be Kon (if when they restock my ~~perfect~~ fabric), and some friends are going to dress up as Ririn, Claude and Nova (from Bleach, if you didn't know). Now, I've never seen a Claude or a Nova outfit, and I've only seen a Ririn once on the internet, so it's gonna be great! And I don't really care whether or not there's more than one of every kind of mod soul, but I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy looking at poorly made Kons D: There are some really horrible ones out there.

Now, because of lack of time and money, I can't go to any cons this autumn. Uppcon was supposed to take place in the early autumn, I think, but they changed the date to January. That's great for my StuffedAnimal!cosplay, but it sort of sucks for my Sasuke - he just can't dress properly, that lad, going around with a nekkid chest and all. It's going to be hell for me if there's snow and/or raining. Urrgh.... (That probably won't be so good for my Kon suit either... But no worries! I'm goind to make smexy shoes for Kon to where outside)

And because there are no cons for me, I'm making costumes! There's a cosplay competition over on youtube, which I heard of, and thought it was a great idea. Thus I started making my Shippuuden Temari cosplay - my hair is perfect for it, I only have to spray it a little.
I really like Temari's clothes, and since I have a kimono pattern at home, it's really easy to make by my self. The only thing I hate though, is the shoes! They look so ugly, but it's nothing a hot glue gun, needle and thread can't fix, ~~I hope~~, so that's going to be okay.
(I'm going to use the same technique for Sasuke's shoes, so it better look good. >.<)

Of Those Darn Cameras and Christmas

Beware of rant.

I don't like my camera. It's one of those cheap digital cameras that you can buy almost everywhere, and... bleurgh.
Alright, so it isn't my camera, but my mother's, but still. It didn't come with a memory card, and it turns off every now and then. It's small, too, but not small enough to use as Deidara's camera eye in a cosplay.

You can take pictures and record things with it, but that's about it. I can't upload the pictures to my computer, courtesy of the lacking memory card, so it's kind of useless. And that darn manual doesn't say which kind of memory card I should use. D:
(I suppose that I could just ask the people in the store, but hey, it's not my camera)

I have to get (many) memory cards before February, since I am going to Meuwcon:02 the 8-10 of said month. One of my friends can't go, and wants a lot of pictures to compensate. Kind of annoying when the only camera you have is a lousy one.

End of rant.

So, in five days, it is Christmas Eve, which means presents and unhealthy food. :D Nice. Father Christmas must favour Scandinavia and Germany since we get our gifts a day before the rest of the world. :3

Anyway, when we're talking about Christmas, I can tell you that I have gingerbread in ANBU-shapes. (Ninjas from Naruto, if you didn't know that.) Okay, so there's Jounin Kakashi, Shippuuden Gaara, Kankuro, Temari, Jiraiya and a pair of Naruto and Sasuke holding hands (but that wasn't my fault! They melted together in the oven...).
All I'm saying is that I have ANBU-gingerbread, but you don't. :)
